Minister of Youth - St. Matthews Baptist Church, Louisville, KY

The Minister to Students is responsible for a full range of dynamic spiritual, social, emotional, and developmental programming that will enhance, educate, and edify the Christian walk of students in Middle School, High School and College. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Spiritual Leadership 1. As a spiritual leader, lead public worship, provide pastoral care and other responsibilities as coordinated by the pastor. 2. Actively participate and encourage participation in the congregation’s ministries, outreach, and mission opportunities. 3. Assist others in discerning their call to live out their faith. 4. Continue to grow in faith through diligent study of Holy Scripture, through regular devotional life of worship and prayer, through continuing education opportunities, through reading journals and books, and through dialogue with peers in ministry.
Music Ministry 1. Direct the congregation for all services of the church. 2. Develop and encourage musical talent in the church. 3. Meet regularly with the Pastor and staff to plan and implement worship for weekly services and special events throughout the year.
Administrative Leadership 1. Provide leadership for the Adult Choir 2. Meet with the Church Council for coordinating the music program with other church activities. 3. Supervise the maintenance of all music properties and the organization of music personnel. 4. Plans and implements special programs and events, and manages the financial parameters of the programs.

Minister of Music - First Baptist Church, Augusta, Georgia
