KBF Projected Partnerships

March 2007: Paint a Church…Complete! Our first project was a great success with 25 people from 11 Kentucky churches. The Church at Fez looks like a brand-new building.

June 2008:”Muslim Encounter”
Baptist Seminary of Kentucky and Kentucky Baptist Fellowship are providing an opportunity for clergy and laity alike to consider the relationship between Christianity and Islam in the context of a Muslim country. This is an immersion experience where the participant will:

  • Learn about Islam
  • Study Christian/Muslim relations
  • Reflect on the Church’s response to globalization
  • Discover where God is working in Morocco

Dates: June 4-13, 2008. Estimated Cost: $1700.

Applications may be requested from the KBF office and must be submitted along with a $150 non-refundable deposit by February 1, 2008. Team size is limited; applicants who are 18 or older, in good health, and are not BSK students will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.

2009: Worship Exchange and Choir Tour
Ministers of music and other skilled musicians wanted to lead a worship camp for the Church in Morocco. Learn African songs and style; teach American worship stile and liturgy. Join African musicians for a choir tour in Morocco.

2010: Medical Team
Medical professionals to provide care for refugees and low-income Moroccans, X-ray and mammogram techs especially needed.
