Rhonda Abbott Blevins, Executive Coordinator
Dr. Rhonda Abbott Blevins became the executive coordinator for KBF in 2015. She was associate pastor of Tellico Village Community Church in Loudon, TN from 2007-2015. Rhonda previously served KBF as Associate Coordinator for Missions from 2005-2007. Before that, Rhonda served as a Baptist campus minister at the University of Georgia.
In 2014, Rhonda completed her Doctor of Ministry degree from Mercer University’s McAfee School of Theology, where she studied the effects of the spiritual practice of gratitude on personal well-being. She holds a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Tennessee Tech University. Rhonda is a trained clergy coach, and practiced through Pinnacle Leadership Associates. Additionally, Rhonda has enjoyed continuing education opportunities with the Community Development Academy, the Academy for Spiritual Formation, the Stephen Ministry Leader Training Course, and Clinical Pastoral Education.
In 2015 Rhonda published Awaken: A Prayer Experience through Pinnacle Leadership Press. She was a featured speaker at the KBF Spring Gathering in Owensboro in 2013 and at A [Baptist] Conference on Sexuality and Covenant in 2012. She is the recipient of the 2012 Charles A. Trentham Homiletics Award. Rhonda was ordained to the ministry in 2005.
Rhonda lives with her husband, Terry, and their two sons, Jake and Rhys.
Kristin Belcher, Operations Coordinator
Kristin Belcher serves as our operations coordinator. Kristin holds a Master of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville, and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. She is a certified social worker.
Kristin's experience with KBF began as a volunteer on missions projects, then as missions intern in 2012. In 2013 she took on the role of office manager. She was named operations coordinator in 2015.
Kristin served as student minister with First Baptist Church in Frankfort, KY from 2012-2015. She has worked with Americorp, Passport, and in the field of social work. She is a member of Inter-religious Relations Table of the National Council of Churches. In 2014, Kristin won the Outstanding Community Service Award from the Southeastern Association of Area Agencies on Aging for her contribution to the lives of older persons.
In her spare time, Kristin loves spending time with her nephews, Jaxon and Parker.
