A House Becomes A Home

Although the Watson home was only 95% complete by Saturday afternoon, those still gathered in McCreary County withstood the heat and humidity as a dedication and house blessing service was held for Bessie, Sarah and Jacob. Building a home is only part of the story of Extreme Build. The more important part of the story, the piece that will last well beyond the home is the relationships formed between Bessie and her family and all her new friends across Kentucky. The love of Jesus Christ was expressed this week through the construction of a home, the breaking of bread, and the fellowship around a worksite. No matter what way we were able to participate, each person left today knowing we are blessed by God to have witnessed the miracle of faith, hope and love demonstrating the presence of Christ in McCreary County.
